AVC I.T. Solutions (“we”, “us”) operates Sari-Sari OS. We respect your privacy and process personal information in line with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) of the Philippines and other applicable rules.

This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and your rights. It applies when you use our website, web app, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

Account & identity

For example: name, email address, password (stored securely by our authentication provider), and session identifiers needed to keep you signed in.

Business & store profile

For example: store name, contact phone, address or location selections you provide, and related profile fields needed to run the Service.

Operational & customer data you enter

You may enter data about your business: products, inventory, customer names, phone numbers, notes, credit (“utang”) and payment ledger entries, and timestamps associated with those records. You control what you enter; we process it to provide sync, backup, and features you request.

Technical & usage data

For example: IP address, device/browser type, approximate timestamps of requests, and error or diagnostic logs needed to secure and operate the Service.

• To create and administer your account and store context.
• To provide core features: inventory, customers, ledger, synchronization, and offline-capable behavior.
• To communicate with you about the Service (for example support or important notices).
• To secure the Service, detect abuse, and comply with law.
• To improve reliability and user experience, including aggregated analytics as described below.

Sari-Sari OS may store business data locally in your browser or device (for example using local databases or storage) so you can work when offline. That data resides on your device under your control. Clearing site data, uninstalling the browser, or losing the device may affect local copies. When online, data may sync to our servers so you can recover from another device, subject to your account and settings.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers who help us host, secure, or operate the Service (for example cloud or database vendors), bound by confidentiality and processing agreements where appropriate. We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect rights, safety, and security.

We may derive aggregated or de-identified insights (for example usage trends) that cannot reasonably identify you. We may use such information to improve the Service, internal reporting, or product planning.

We retain information while your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Technical logs may be held for shorter periods. If you request deletion, we will act within reasonable time subject to legal retention obligations.
